Corporate Citizenship

Social Impact

CTCI upholds professionalism and core values, striving to promote the sustainable development of Taiwan's engineering industry while actively giving back to the society and demonstrating corporate responsibility. In alignment with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), CTCI has established three main sustainability pillars: promoting green and friendly technology applications, nurturing engineering talent, and advocating sustainable engineering while caring for the society. These efforts aim to realize the company's vision of "advancing green engineering and fostering environmental sustainability."

Through involvement in public infrastructure projects, industryacademia collaboration, academic incentives, volunteer initiatives, and philanthropic support, CTCI actively mobilizes social resources. It also works with the CTCI Education Foundation and the local communities to build an internal and external network of public welfare. This systematic approach enhances social impact and drives the inclusive development of sustainable engineering and society.

CTCI follows the Business for Societal Impact (B4SI) framework and systematically evaluates the effectiveness of its social investments based on activity objectives and cost categories. This approach helps enhance resource allocation and integrate financial and nonfinancial information to create shared value. In recent years, CTCI focuses on community investment and leveraged engineering projects to drive local employment and promote community development, talent cultivation, as well as philanthropic initiatives. The
distribution of these efforts includes community investment (31%), charitable activities (19%), and commercial initiatives (50%). The primary forms of contribution consist of cash donations (78%) and volunteer hours (8%).

In 2025, CTCI invested over NT$13 million to support cultural development. At the beginning of the year, the company held its annual Spring Festival Gala, featuring renowned performers such as the Golden Melody Award-winning band Accusefive, Claire Kuo, and
Power Station, with a total investment of approximately NT$7.21 million. In collaboration with Zhishan Cultural and Ecological Garden, CTCI co-organized the "Shilin Culture Festival" and provided about NT$480,000 in funding. The festival included the opening concert and other activities to promote cultural awareness in the Shilin and Tianmu areas. The company also sponsored NT$150,000 for a climate change painting competition and exhibition. It also commissioned Global Vision Magazine to publish a corporate book,
with an expenditure of approximately NT$3 million. CTCI continues to encourage all business units to take sustainability and cultural development into consideration when planning events, so as to broaden the impact on cultural initiatives.

In 2025, southern Taiwan was severely impacted by Typhoon Danas and the torrential rains on July 28. To help the affected residents restore their homes and return to normalcy, CTCI Group actively responded to the action call by the Executive Yuan's "Yun-Chia-Nan Post-Disaster Recovery Forward Command Post." By taking action, CTCI wished to encourage more enterprises to join the reconstruction efforts and provide strong support for disaster-affected areas. CTCI voluntarily spent NT$10 million and repaired 40 affected households fast so that the residents could get back home as soon as possible.

As Taiwan's leading EPC company and one of the world's top 100, CTCI maximizes its engineering influence by enrooting ESG principles into its core operations and decision-making. Through innovative technology and collaboration, the company implements sustainability via "smart" and "low-carbon" construction models, offering numerous green engineering projects worldwide that balance environmental protection with economic growth. The company is a frequent winner of the Public Works Gold Quality Award, which reflects its high standards of professionalism and construction quality. The disaster relief initiative not only demonstrates CTCI's commitment to corporate social responsibility and social engagement, but also offers hope and momentum for residents to rebuild their lives. It is a true fulfillment of CTCI's role as a "Guardian of Sustainable Earth."
