Across our global organization, every CTCI employee is committed to delivering green engineering solutions that balance environmental responsibility with economic value. We firmly believe that engineering is not merely about building for today―it is about laying the foundation for a resilient society of the future. Accordingly, we actively leverage our influence as an international EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) group to embed sustainability throughout the entire project lifecycle. Every project we undertake is designed not only to drive global development and enhance climate resilience, but also to incorporate advanced green and intelligent solutions. Through our high-efficiency, low-emissions engineering capabilities, we support industries in addressing challenges such as carbon tariffs and energy shortages―ensuring operational stability while strengthening long-term competitiveness. This ability to translate a sustainability vision into concrete action is precisely what makes CTCI the most reliable partner for our global clients.
Driving Sustainable Transformation through Innovative Green Engineering
In recent years, global decarbonization policies have become increasingly codified and institutionalized. At the same time, the rapid growth of high-tech industries such as AI and semiconductors has fueled strong demand for reliable energy supply and resilient infrastructure. Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions and the escalating impacts of climate change continue to create uncertainties across the global economic landscape. Against this backdrop, CTCI has remained ahead of emerging trends by leveraging its core engineering expertise to help clients maintain operational stability and strengthen long-term resilience. The trust we have built with clients has also become a key driver of our continued growth. In 2025, both our contract awards and projects under execution continued to expand, with green engineering delivering particularly strong performance. Since 2015, the value of related projects hasgrown by 740%, while cumulative green investments have exceeded NT$45.4 billion. Building on our strong capabilities in green engineering, CTCI has also accelerated digital transformation―integrating engineering practices with advanced smart technologies to elevate service performance across the board. Through our proprietary CTCI Digital Twin and Top-tier AI Intelligent Platform, we have made AI a powerful enabler of project execution. These innovations not only enhance engineering quality and execution efficiency, but also deliver precise and maximized carbon reduction outcomes―positioning us as the partner of choice for clients advancing toward netzero transformation in a rapidly changing environment. Guided by our "Green Engineering + AI" strategy, CTCI is proactively responding to industry demands for transformation and resilient infrastructure, achieving significant results across diverse sectors. In the energy and infrastructure sector, we have contributed to gas-fired power plants, LNG receiving terminals, and rail transit systems in Taiwan, contributing to the establishment of a low-carbon energy framework. In the high-tech and industrial sectors, we have supported leading semiconductor companies in constructing multiple advanced high-precision fabrication facilities, participated in liquid-to-chemicals (LTC) projects across the Middle East, the United States, and Southeast Asia, advancing the development of overseas green smart science parks to accelerat supply chain transformation and industrial clustering. In the areas of resource circularity and decarbonization, CTCI delivered the globally benchmarked Southern Taiwan Science Park Reclaimed Water Plant, achieving a milestone in recycling industrial wastewater for semiconductor manufacturing processes. We have also actively engaged in major national net-zero initiatives, including the successful completion of Taiwan's first Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) project and other pioneering green engineering developments. As an early adopter of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), CTCI has extended its expertise to ecological stewardship. Across our global projects, we implement biodiversity protection measures and uphold a Zero Deforestation Policy, striving to set a benchmark for sustainable development in harmony with nature.
Harnessing Professional Expertise to Advance Shared Sustainability
CTCI leverages its engineering expertise to drive shared sustainable prosperity. We firmly believe that only by embedding sustainability into a common language and code of conduct for all employees can we continuously expand our impact. Internally, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace for our global workforce. We have also established CTCI University, a dedicated digital learning platform that enables borderless talent development. In addition,, we continue to implement our "ESG for All" initiative, bringing together the collective sustainability efforts of CTCI colleagues worldwide. Externally, through the CTCI Learning online platform, we offer free engineering courses to cultivate talent for society and strengthen industry capabilities. We have also established the CTCI Education Foundation, which has long been dedicated to advancing sustainable engineering education and empowering young talent. In recent years, CTCI has further represented Taiwan as an observer at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP), showcasing Taiwan's tangible contributions to sustainable engineering on the global stage. Furthermore, in the aftermath of major disasters, CTCI actively applies its core engineering expertise to support infrastructure restoration and safeguard public safety. To foster shared value with our partners, we have also established the CTCI Supplier Net Zero Alliance, guiding suppliers in implementing carbon management practices and driving sustainable growth across the entire value chain.
